Here comes the Public Sector Innovation Week!
Turning Ideas into Solutions
The Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management (MP) will promote from November 30 to December 4, the 2015 Public Sector Innovation Week - Turning Ideas into Solutions.
It´s a five-day event, including activities such as an international conference, several courses, and interaction with startups. The aim is to promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Federal Public Administration and create an interactive and creative environment with ideas and solutions to improve public processes and services.

November 30 and December 1st - StartupGov
StartupGov emerges as a space for debate bound to get government experts closer to the startup ecosystem in order to promote networking and the discussion of ideas and possibilities for future partnerships aimed to address issues of public interest. In this edition, there will be an online phase, for discussing possible enterprise-format solutions to improve the delivery of public services in the themes "Education" and "Efficiency Management". Then, there will be a presential phase, in which public officials and experts linked to startup ecosystem will discuss the set of ideas and projects raised during the online phase. The result will provide thematic subsidies for potential development actions.
December 2nd and 3rd - International Conference
Debate among authorities and national and international experts on innovation most relevant topics. Among which are the challenges and innovation incentives in the public sector, a laboratory with national and international experiences, and restraints elimination. The debate is free of charges and open to the public.

December 4th – Innovation Arenas
Training courses, on nine distinct themes. The courses capacity ranges between 50 and 100 people. The participants will be trained on innovative tools and how can they be used in public administration. There will also be courses about the themes thinking design, project management and the importance of networks and digital technologies. The courses are free and open to the public. The whole program is free of charge.
Please note: some courses will take place simultaneously.
